I am so happy that flared/bootcut/wide-leg jeans are making a comeback! I've kept all of my pairs from years past, waiting for the day they would be back in style again. Since this blouse is a bit tiny and cropped, I wanted to wear some flared jeans to balance it out.
I absolutely love the scalloped edges and delicate capped sleeves of this blouse.
I went to a Frozen-themed birthday party this weekend, so I was going for an all icy-blue look. My nail polish color here is Ciate's Ferris Wheel, which paired quite nicely with the Cloud blue color of my Orla Kiely purse.

This necklace was a gift from my Mom. The quatrefoil is probably one of my favorite designs, and I felt this necklace went well with the Frozen look I was going for.
Hope everyone is having a good start to their week!
Orla Kiely's UK site is running a special offer - when you buy Orla Kiely's Home book, you can also purchase the limited edition Pattern book for half off. This would make such a wonderful gift for any Orla Kiely fan!
The first of Orla Kiely's Fall/Winter 2015 collection for Clarks is now available online. The styles that are available are shown below, while I believe the rest of the collection will debut later this week. I did notice in the above ad, however, that it states this will be the final collaboration. Say it ain't so, Orla! I was looking forward to another Spring/Summer collection because those styles are my favorite. I guess we better enjoy this collaboration while we can!
These are one of my favorites out of the collection (my other two - Orla Alice and Orla Amelia - haven't made their way to the US website yet). I love how classic and versatile they are - I can easily wear them to work, but I can also wear them with jeans on the weekends.
A few of Orla Kiely's kitchenware items have been marked down to half off on the US site. I'm admittedly a bit spoiled after having found so many ceramics from Burlington for up to 90% off, BUT if you don't have a Burlington store near you or you haven't had much luck finding any of these pieces in your store, these are still really good buys. See what's available below :)
This piece I actually want to splurge on. I have had a few people email me telling me they've had luck finding this piece at Burlington, but I've been searching for months now and haven't been able to find it (yet).
This bag has recently become my latest obsession. I've actually had it for several months, but only recently started using it as an everyday bag. I think I just always felt it didn't hold everything I needed (which includes diapers, wipes, and snacks for my son), but one day I just decided to try to fit everything in this bag and to my pleasant surprise, there was enough room for everything (even my iPad!) So this quickly became my go-to purse. Also, the nylon material makes it very low-maintenance and I find that's a plus when you're running errands or chasing after your toddler son.
Today is the last day for the Container Store's 20% off Friends and Family event. Just use code SUMMER20 at checkout. They have a great selection of Orla Kiely cake tins and canisters, and there's free shipping when you spend $75 or more. Check out the pieces below, and shop the entire collection here.
Orla Kiely has continued to expand her collection of animal-themed home accessories with the addition of the Elephant, Owl, and Hen canisters. You can purchase them individually in the large size (27 cm x 13 cm) for $12 each, or buy an entire set for $40. Each design is SO cute, so I'd probably end up getting the set of three :)
