Orla Kiely Travel Cabin Cases

Orla Kiely's Spring/Summer 2018 suitcases are now available on their UK site (previously I was only able to find them at ChrisElli, so I'm excited to see the entire collection on the official site as this probably means more pieces that I've been eyeing from the Stem lookbook will be available soon). These travel pieces, which are being touted as "cabin cases" are available in three different materials (matte laminated cotton canvas, nylon, or textured vinyl) and a total of five different prints. My favorite one, pattern-wise, would of course have to be the Classic Multi Stem, but as far as materials go, I'd definitely go with the textured vinyl in the Sixties Stem print. Which one is your favorite?

A couple weeks ago, I wrote about HauteLook's flash Orla Kiely sale and I was able to pick up a few things, which I will share some of my initial thoughts on. Also, a couple of the items shown here are now available at Nordstrom Rack, which I will link below.

Extra Large 70s Oval Flower Storage Container $22.97 (was $42)

This "extra large" container is actually quite small! If this is already the extra large version, I can't imagine how small the other ones are (they are also available in size large and medium). Despite the size, I still do quite like this item because it's oven-safe and includes a lid, which is ideal for preparing dishes to take to a dinner party.

Hen 1 Liter Storage Jar $19.97 (was $30)

On the flip side, I was actually quite impressed with the size of this storage jar. It also seems quite sturdy and well-made, and I can think of so many uses for it.

Orla Kiely for Brabantia Ironing Board

Orla Kiely has teamed up with Brabantia once again to create this Flower Oval Stem printed ironing board, which includes a steam iron rest (see her first collection for Brabantia here). I actually might not mind ironing so much if I had this :) And I just love that Orla Kiely keeps coming out with more and more ways to bring her signature designs into your home.

And if you don't have the need for a new ironing board, you can opt to get the cover instead - a more affordable option at just £15.50.

Orla Kiely for Light & Free Yogurt

Orla Kiely has had several collaborations in the past, but this particular one tickled me quite a bit. Danone Light & Free has teamed up with our favorite designer to create a limited edition 4-pack of Pretty Poma-Berries Greek style yogurt. 

There are four prints available - Acorn Spot, Square Flower, Flower Spot, and Tulip - in colorways that coordinate well with the berry flavor.

This is definitely an item for any Orla Kiely collector. I imagine if I was able to purchase these, I'd without a doubt save the packaging (not the yogurt haha). Since I live in the US, I won't be able to get my hands on these as I believe they are only available in the UK. So if you live in the area, definitely check out your local supermarket :)
