Here's the part of Orla Kiely's Olive and Orange range at Halfords that I was most excited for - the tent and camping accessories...and I don't even go camping. But I absolutely LOVE the coolbag and picnic rug, both items that I would use whenever I take my son to the beach or park (please let me know if there are any kinds souls living in the UK that would be willing to ship these to me in the US!)

Orla Kiely's Olive and Orange Collection at Halfords

Today is the official launch of Orla Kiely's Olive and Orange range at Haflords stores (the collection debuted online last week, but all items are now in stores. I'm going to focus on bikes in this post - accessories and camping gear will be featured in separate posts). When I was in the UK last week, I did try to visit a Halfords in Edinburgh as several people were able to find a few of the items already in stores. Sadly, I wasn't able to find anything, but the employees there were quite nice and very helpful in trying to help me locate stores in the area that would possibly have anything. I ended up going home empty-handed as it appeared none of the stores in Edinburgh were going to get anything in, and I didn't get a chance to visit any Halford in London as they seemed quite out-of-the-way from where I was staying and we already had a jam-packed schedule. I am still hoping that Halfords will expand their shipping to the US, or maybe this line will eventually be available on Orla Kiely's website and eligible for worldwide shipping (please? pretty please?) For now though, I will just have to admire the collection through these photos. Of course, this collection does not disappoint and has all of Orla Kiely's touches and attention-to-detail that we all love so much.

I've been loving all the miniature versions of the classics lately (the Classic Shoulder Bag, Backpack Tote, and now Zip Shopper are all available in smaller sizes). Once again, I'm interested to see how this looks on - while I was in London, I did get a chance to try on the Poppy Cat Print Small Classic Shoulder Bag, and it was ridiculously cute. I'm sure this one would be the same :)

Oh my goodness, I am absolutely IN LOVE with Orla Kiely's newest line of purses and accessories that just debuted online today! I'm going to start with probably my favorite from the collection - the Passion Flower print on textured vinyl. The deep blue background is gorgeous and of course, I love the floral print.

Today is our favorite designer's birthday so let's all send happy birthday wishes her way!

I am now back home after my week-long trip to the UK! I'm slowly trying to get back into the swing of things, but it's been a bit of a challenge as I am still in the process of packing for our new house and overall just adjusting to being back home (doesn't it sometimes feel like you need a vacation from your vacation?) Also, the school year is winding down and with that comes tons of grading, cleaning up my classroom, and just lots of miscellaneous end-of-the-year stuff that teachers have to deal with. Hopefully, though, in the next two weeks I can get back into a regular posting schedule on this blog - I've got tons of ideas after my trip, including a wear-and-tear post on my Orla Kiely luggage, my trips to both shops in London, and of course, what I hauled :) In the meantime, I hope you are all having a wonderful week!
