Store Closings

Ok, so I don't actually love store closings, but at least you can benefit from all the discounts. I got an email early this morning saying that the Pottery Barn at the Avenues was closing January 15. John and I have been wanting this leather recliner for FOREVER so we decided to head to the store to check it out. Unfortunately, they did not have the recliner, but our dining table and bench that we'd been wanting was 20% off (plus, we opened a Pottery Barn credit card to get the 10% rewards back). So here it is - our first actual dining table that we've purchased as a married couple.

I'm so excited to be able to decorate this table with a runner, placemats, centerpieces, etc. John and I really liked the potpourri collections they were selling, which you could place in cylinder vases for a nice decorative touch.

We did purchase the bench, so all we need now are chairs to complete our collection. Instead of buying the ultra-expensive chairs at Pottery Barn, we decided we could achieve the same look by checking out our local vintage shops and antique stores.
