Orla Kiely SS16 Stem: Giant Linear Stem in Dandelion

Oh gosh, this Dandelion color is probably one of the prettiest colorways these Giant Linear Stem bags have ever been available in. I just love this bright and cheery hue! I haven't decided yet, though, which piece I like the best in this collection. I'm still quite curious about the Small Zip Shoulder Bag, but the Stem design gets cut off quite a bit on this style, so I think I'll opt for something like the Zip Shopper or the Backpack Tote. Which one is your favorite?

Orla Kiely SS16 Stem: Flower Stem Embossed Leather in Black, Sand, and Sky

Orla Kiely's Flower Stem Embossed Leather bags and accessories are now available in the colorways Black, Sand, and Sky. The Sand is probably my favorite because I love its orange handles and straps. I'm so used to seeing Orla Kiely's Stem collection in matte laminate or nylon that I was surprised (and excited!) to see these bags available in leather. I particularly love the Travel Pouch in Sand from this collection, and the wallets are really cute as well.

Here's the Sixties Stem Punched Leather collection once again, this time in the colorways Black and Yellow. The Black bags/accessories are pretty much the same ones from the FW15 collection, but there are a few new styles this season, which include the Joanie Backpack, Iris Bag, and Square Zip Wallet.

Last season, I mentioned that I really didn't like the fact that the Sixties Stem Punched Leather bags had cotton webbing straps as opposed to leather, which I felt would look better with its higher-end style. However, I don't mind the cotton straps on the Joanie Backpack since I know it's meant to be a more casual look. I was instantly excited to see this new style as you know I love my backpacks and that yellow color is SO pretty!

This season's take on Orla Kiely's OK design now comes in a croc appliqué leather in the colorways Sand and Orange (I prefer the Sand because I like its pink and yellow accents). The Mini Bethan Bag is probably my favorite, but since I often like to wear my bags cross body, I'm also really liking the Bonnie Bag.

Orla Kiely SS16 Mainline: Damask Flower Textured Vinyl

Orla Kiely's Damask Flower collection includes textured vinyl bags and accessories in the colorway Sky, which has an olive green floral pattern against a sky blue background and red-organe accents. I love the textured vinyl material - it's quite durable and carefree - but I wish these were also offered in the Lilac colorway, which is only available on the tarpaulin bags. What do you think - do you like the Damask Flower print in Sky or Lilac better? And which style is your favorite? I'm loving the Large Poppy Bag because I actually really like the pop of color on the front leather card pocket.

Orla Kiely SS16 Mainline: Damask Flower Printed Tarpaulin in Lilac

This season's tarpaulin bags feature the Damask Flower Print in the colorway Lilac, which has a lovely purple floral pattern against a bright yellow background. While I'm not a huge fan of tarpaulin, I do own a Willow Bag in this material that I love - the patterns just seem to pop more on this shiny material. Likewise, the tarpaulin turns out to be a good medium for the colors and bold graphics of the Damask print. I do wish these bags were lined, though - I think that would make them more durable, but I do see the appeal of having such a simple low-maintenance bag.

The Mini Box Bag, one of my favorite styles, has seen a few improvements this season. First, it now has a double zip closure, which will make getting in and out of the bag a lot more convenient. It also has a detachable strap with leather accents (previous versions just had the straps attached to the bag with no option of removing them). And last, my favorite detail - it has a top handle with leather detailing. I think that's just such a cute touch, and sometimes I do like to carry my purses with my hand rather than on my shoulder, so I like that the Mini Box Bag has that option now. Even if you don't use it, it's still a rather cute detail.
