I love how the Buddy collection is now available in yellow gold. It was previously available in rose gold and silver, both of which I like, but yellow gold is my ultimate favorite. I have been wanting to get this ring for such a long time, but have been so confused about the sizing. When I was in London last year, I tried on both the size small and medium - the small felt a little too small on my ring finger, whereas the medium felt a little too large. Does anyone have any input on the sizing of Orla Kiely's rings?
This Daisy collection seems to be a slightly updated version of the previous one - here, the flowers appear to be about the same size, and the centers are colored enamel as opposed to gold. Which version do you like better?
I am not much of a charm necklace/bracelet type of person, but I actually think this necklace looks quite cute! I'm not sure if I could ever pull it off myself (especially after seeing a photo of it on Instagram and realizing just how large the charms were), but I still appreciate its cute design.
I love this design so much! It's reminiscent of the Leather Stitched Stem bags from the Autumn/Winter 2008 collection. I love whenever Orla Kiely uses older designs and updates them for her newer pieces because it allows fans a chance to own a "vintage" item that they might have missed out on the first time around.
The Honey version of this bag is my favorite from this collection - it just looks so sleek and sophisticated with its turn lock closure and structured silhouette. Also, I love that it has both a top handle and shoulder strap. The textured leather will make this piece quite durable.
I have to admit, the Poppies and Daisies print on this season's Textured Vinyl bags wasn't my favorite, but the more I look at it, the more it's growing on me. I do love the Olive background, a color that's currently lacking in my collection. My favorites would be the Laurel Tote, whose thick leather handles I quite like, as well as the Mini Ivy Bag.
I am finally going to resume blogging after what has been quite a busy month. My apologies as always for taking such a long time in between posts (I can't seem to keep up nowadays!) Anyway, enough of the excuses and on to the handbags!
I am quite curious about this Flower Bloom Canvas line, which is part of the SS17 Mainline collection. It's made of 100% cotton and only the inside is laminated. It's a different switch as I'm used to the exterior being laminated cotton canvas, so I'm curious to see how this looks and feels in person since it's kinda hard to tell from the photos. The print is quite loud with its retro floral background along with a giant Stem in front, and while I find myself gravitating less towards prints and more towards simpler designs, I do still find myself drawn to this bag. I think the Large Duffle and Beach Bag would be great for both the beach or the gym, but I'm a cross body gal so that would probably be my favorite design.
