Orla Kiely by Gaiam Yoga Items at Target

In addition to Orla Kiely's amazing selection of luggage and travel accessories now available at Target, the company has teamed up with Gaiam to release a line of yoga mats, bags, water bottles, and other accessories. Although I don't do yoga (I've tried a couple times - I quickly discovered that I wasn't coordinated or strong enough to do it), I'm still pretty excited about this collection. I'm trying to think of different and creative uses for the yoga mats since I can't use them for their intended purpose (maybe I can pass them off as kitchen mats?). But the other items, such as the water bottles, bags, and headbands are practical for everyday life, even if you don't do yoga.

Target is currently offering free shipping on any order, so you can shop the entire collection here or check them out at your local store. I've had better luck finding most of these items in store (save for the Yoga Bag, but I've since ordered that online after obsessively checking Target's online stock. When the bag finally popped back in stock, I ordered right away! Availability has been sporadic for some reason.)

Yoga Mat in
$24.99 each

Yoga Block in
$12.99 each
I've no clue what a yoga block is used for...yet I still want these. I'm sure they would make a nice decor piece, or maybe even bookends (my husband thinks I'm crazy for this haha).

Again, I need to think of a creative use for this bag. Maybe storage for my tripod? Any suggestions?

This was the bag that I could not find at any one of the (now) eight Targets I've been to. And every time I tried to order it online, it would say out of stock. But finally this morning, I was able to add it to my cart, so I ordered right away and I've already gotten a shipping notice so it's on its way to me! Wouldn't this make a really cute purse or even diaper bag? No need to be creative with this one since it easily passes for a regular purse in my opinion.

This is available in two other colors (yellow and pink), but for some reason they aren't showing up online anymore. I decided to purchase the yellow because it's one of my favorite colors. Even though I don't do yoga, I could still wear this while working out at the gym.

360 Drinking Tritan Waterbottle in
$12.99 each
Another item I could easily use at the gym are these water bottles. I like its unique pop-up cap that allows for 360 degree drinking. It's made of plastic, so it's lightweight and easy to carry around in the gym.

Bamboo Glass Waterbottle in
Rose, Grey, and Green
$14.99 each
These glass water bottles are so pretty - almost to the point where I might just put them on display instead of actually using them (almost). Since these are made of glass, they are definitely heavier and more substantial than the Tritan Water Bottles above. I love the bamboo caps and the tiny rope up top.

What do you think of Orla Kiely's latest collaboration with Target? Are you as excited about these items as I am? What have you purchased so far? A haul and review post on these items will be up soon - I ordered a majority of these online, so I'm still waiting for them to arrive, but as soon as they do I'll post more detailed photos and share my thoughts on each item with you. Have a wonderful weekend!

Orla Kiely for Target Travel Luggage and Accessories

Orla Kiely has released another line for Target, and I think it's the best one yet! Included in this latest collaboration are a line of suitcases and travel accessories, as well as yoga items such as mats, water bottles, and bags.

Needless to say, I was beyond thrilled.

So I headed out to not one, but FOUR of my local Targets (and this doesn't even include the two additional Targets that I recruited family members to check out for me in other cities). Sadly, it was difficult to find many of these items in my hometown, and each Target I went to was progressively worse. The first Target I went to had two of the suitcases and two of the overnight bags, and that was it for the travel items.

The entire yoga line was available, except for the Yoga Bag, which was the one item I wanted the most (of course). The Orla Kiely displays were set up in most of the stores I went to, but the racks and shelves were empty.

I asked the employees if any of the items were in stock, and they said no, they were completely sold out. Hmm, I have a hard time believing this and I'm simply going to think maybe the collection is so new that items haven't been put out on shelves yet. So instead of driving myself crazy Target-hopping, I decided to order whatever I could online, and wait for anything else to pop up in stores.

The best part of this collaboration in my opinion are the suitcases! While Orla Kiely has sold luggage before, they're not always available for purchase from the website, so unless you're near a store, you're out of luck. That is, until now. And the price points are pretty good - I got a chance to look at these in person, and they seem well made and substantial. There are several compartments, and the color and patterns are as vibrant as ever - you definitely won't miss these on the conveyor belt at the airport! And of course, as Orla Kiely is always keen on attention to detail, these suitcases feature a small car-printed interior, drawstring shoe bag, and removable clear zip pouch.

Drawstring shoe bag included with the suitcases.

I was able to get the 21" roller in the Linear Stem Print, but I also plan on purchasing the 28" roller in the Large Cars Print.

I want this duffle bag so bad, but I can't seem to find it at any stores and it's unavailable online! Yikes! But I'm holding out hope that it'll be available for purchase online soon. I've been checking the online stock obsessively, and several items that were unavailable for purchase just last night became available this morning, so I'm hoping this duffle bag will be available soon!

And of course, your Orla Kiely luggage wouldn't be complete without an equally adorable luggage tag!

If you're not currently in the market for a suitcase (and honestly, I'm not either, but I can't help myself!), you can always pick up one of these awesome overnight bags - great for weekend getaways and short trips. I have one of these overnight bags from the original line, and I will write a post soon comparing these Target bags with the one I have from a few seasons ago.

Another exciting item in this collection is the crossbody bag - the first Orla Kiely purse for Target. Orla Kiely's purses are the reason I fell in love with this brand to begin with, so it's awesome that Target has such an affordable option available.

Along with the crossbody bag, there's an awesome selection of accessories that can be used for travel or everyday life. This travel case would be great to hold your makeup or even miscellaneous items in your diaper bag if you have a toddler like I do :)

I am so excited about this wallet! I'd been looking for a simple one that could hold my credit cards, gift cards, and ID, and one that also had a wristlet so it would be easy to grab and carry around while running errands, and this one fits the bill!

The perfect passport case :)

I was able to purchase quite a bit of the travel collection, but mostly online, so I'm still waiting for my items to arrive. Once they do, I'll write a haul post so I can share more detailed photos and my thoughts with you. If you have a Target near you, definitely check out this collection! Although I didn't have much luck, several people on Instagram have posted photos showcasing the entire collection at their local Targets so you might have better luck than me. Also, Target is currently offering free shipping on any order - no minimum purchase required! So if you can't find any of these items in store, try purchasing them online instead. Tomorrow, I'll be writing a post on the yoga collection so stay tuned for that, and happy shopping! :)

Orla Kiely for Kerrygold Butter

Orla Kiely has teamed up with Kerrygold to design a limited edition packaging for their Spreadable, Softer Butter, and Salted Butter products, as shown below. The packaging features the Sunset Flora print in a combination of kelly green, deep green, and marigold that complement the Irish company's signature packaging and logo.

The packaging launched today in stores and will be available for eight weeks. I checked out my local grocery store here in the US to see if they were available, but alas, I could not find them. For a collector like myself, it would be awesome to get my hands on these - even after the butter is gone, I could still reuse the tubs to store miscellaneous items and of course put them on display, as I usually do with Orla Kiely packaging. However, it doesn't look like these products will be available in the states, but I will keep looking and let you all know. For those living in the UK, enjoy! :)
