Orla Kiely's New Location in New York

Orla Kiely's latest shop is now open. The new location is at 372 Bleecker Street in New York. I visited the old location in SoHo when my husband and I vacationed there about 4 years ago and it was such a beautiful store. This new location looks just as gorgeous - the floors look amazing and I would love to have these tiles in my own kitchen! I hope to make a trip out to New York sometime in the next couple years so I can visit this beautiful new location.

Have any of you been to this new location yet? If so, please share your experiences/thoughts in the comments :)

I live in the city, but the location is not as convenient as the store in SOHO. I finally get a chance to visit the store the day before thanksgiving, but they closed early. I was so disappointed. This location is much smaller than the previous location. :-(

The Soho store was much better. This is in the West Village. Harder to get to. It's two stores connected instead of one open loft space with high ceilings. Darker inside and smaller. They dont carry any housewares, for instance.

I agree that the SoHo store was much better. The new store feels cramped and small. Also there is WAY less product on display. The majority of items on the website are not on display in the store. There is no sale section like there was in SoHo.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. That's a bummer that the location is not as convenient. And the store does appear to be much smaller than the SOHO location. I did visit that store with my husband about four years ago, and it was heaven! So spacious and adorable, and I loved the camper in back. Do they still have it at the new location?

The Soho store does appear to be much better, although this one sounds a lot like the shop in London, which is also kinda like two stores connected together. Hopefully I'll get a chance to visit this location soon!

A friend of mine just visited the store last weekend and took a video for me. It does appear to be way smaller and more cramped. Such a bummer since the SoHo location was so open and welcoming. I'm hoping that I can visit this new store soon so I can see it for myself!
