Orla Kiely for Target Travel Luggage and Accessories

Orla Kiely has released another line for Target, and I think it's the best one yet! Included in this latest collaboration are a line of suitcases and travel accessories, as well as yoga items such as mats, water bottles, and bags.

Needless to say, I was beyond thrilled.

So I headed out to not one, but FOUR of my local Targets (and this doesn't even include the two additional Targets that I recruited family members to check out for me in other cities). Sadly, it was difficult to find many of these items in my hometown, and each Target I went to was progressively worse. The first Target I went to had two of the suitcases and two of the overnight bags, and that was it for the travel items.

The entire yoga line was available, except for the Yoga Bag, which was the one item I wanted the most (of course). The Orla Kiely displays were set up in most of the stores I went to, but the racks and shelves were empty.

I asked the employees if any of the items were in stock, and they said no, they were completely sold out. Hmm, I have a hard time believing this and I'm simply going to think maybe the collection is so new that items haven't been put out on shelves yet. So instead of driving myself crazy Target-hopping, I decided to order whatever I could online, and wait for anything else to pop up in stores.

The best part of this collaboration in my opinion are the suitcases! While Orla Kiely has sold luggage before, they're not always available for purchase from the website, so unless you're near a store, you're out of luck. That is, until now. And the price points are pretty good - I got a chance to look at these in person, and they seem well made and substantial. There are several compartments, and the color and patterns are as vibrant as ever - you definitely won't miss these on the conveyor belt at the airport! And of course, as Orla Kiely is always keen on attention to detail, these suitcases feature a small car-printed interior, drawstring shoe bag, and removable clear zip pouch.

Drawstring shoe bag included with the suitcases.

I was able to get the 21" roller in the Linear Stem Print, but I also plan on purchasing the 28" roller in the Large Cars Print.

$99.00
I want this duffle bag so bad, but I can't seem to find it at any stores and it's unavailable online! Yikes! But I'm holding out hope that it'll be available for purchase online soon. I've been checking the online stock obsessively, and several items that were unavailable for purchase just last night became available this morning, so I'm hoping this duffle bag will be available soon!

$9.99
And of course, your Orla Kiely luggage wouldn't be complete without an equally adorable luggage tag!

If you're not currently in the market for a suitcase (and honestly, I'm not either, but I can't help myself!), you can always pick up one of these awesome overnight bags - great for weekend getaways and short trips. I have one of these overnight bags from the original line, and I will write a post soon comparing these Target bags with the one I have from a few seasons ago.

Another exciting item in this collection is the crossbody bag - the first Orla Kiely purse for Target. Orla Kiely's purses are the reason I fell in love with this brand to begin with, so it's awesome that Target has such an affordable option available.

$9.99
Along with the crossbody bag, there's an awesome selection of accessories that can be used for travel or everyday life. This travel case would be great to hold your makeup or even miscellaneous items in your diaper bag if you have a toddler like I do :)

$19.99
I am so excited about this wallet! I'd been looking for a simple one that could hold my credit cards, gift cards, and ID, and one that also had a wristlet so it would be easy to grab and carry around while running errands, and this one fits the bill!

The perfect passport case :)

I was able to purchase quite a bit of the travel collection, but mostly online, so I'm still waiting for my items to arrive. Once they do, I'll write a haul post so I can share more detailed photos and my thoughts with you. If you have a Target near you, definitely check out this collection! Although I didn't have much luck, several people on Instagram have posted photos showcasing the entire collection at their local Targets so you might have better luck than me. Also, Target is currently offering free shipping on any order - no minimum purchase required! So if you can't find any of these items in store, try purchasing them online instead. Tomorrow, I'll be writing a post on the yoga collection so stay tuned for that, and happy shopping! :)

And this is why I follow your blog. I just purchased the purse and am hoping to get some luggage pieces for my birthday next month. I'm looking forward to seeing your detailed reviews. I can't decide which luggage pattern I prefer. :)

Glad I was able to help :) The luggage patterns were too difficult for me to choose between so I'm going to get both haha. Happy early birthday!

I noticed a place holder for a Leaf Wristlet at the FIVE Targets I went to today in search of the Black and White yoga back (no luck)....it's not online, have you come across it yet?

No, I have not, but I'm very curious now! I would LOVE to see a leaf-printed wristlet at Target.

I'm in full-on stalker mode now so if I find one I will let you know! ;)

I stopped by Target (again) and I saw what you meant by the place holder for a "leaf wristlet." That'll be exciting if they release a classic Linear Stem version of the wallet! Thanks for being on the lookout for me :)

Hi stephanie, I am just wondering how well does your 28" suitcase hold after you travel with it? I am thinking to pull the trigger to order the 28' one online, but worry if the suitcase can still hold well after being check in (airlines are being very rough in handling the check in suitcase) any review and comment? would love to hear from you, TIA!

Hi! I honestly haven't used my 28" suitcase yet for traveling at the airport. I have only used it during a weekend getaway where my husband and I drove, so we were the only ones handling our suitcases. I was somewhat rough with it myself dragging it up and down several flights of stairs, and aside from a few scratches on the wheels, it was still fine. Now I know that's TOTALLY not the same as checking it in at the airport, so I honestly can't say how well it will hold up, but I can say that it seems like it has a solid construction and will hold up ok. I used to have much cheaper suitcases that were not made as well, and they've held up very well after traveling several times (including two international trips), so I imagine the Orla Kiely ones will fare the same, if not better. My only concern would be how dirty they would get. The material seems prone to attracting dirt, but I think you can easily wipe it down and spot clean with soap and water. Hope this helps! Let me know which suitcase you end up with :)

Thanks for your reply. I bought the linear stem one but I am so worry that it will be damaged after being check in. I don't know when I can fly though, but I love it so much and just cannot resist! I love your blog and instagram photos. keep up the good work! :)

Anonymous from 2/24/15 or anyone who has flown with these suitcases- I was wondering how they held up? Just bought the navy stem suitcases in both sizes for a trip but am nervous!

Hi Stacy! I have not flown with mine yet, but I have traveled with them and they've been stuffed into trunks of cars, dragged up and down stairs, and my toddler son has jumped up and down on them, and they've held up well. I know, not quite the same thing, but I think they are durable and will hold up well at the airport :)

I've had my roller leaf in orange about ten years now. I travel every year sometimes twice a year. Still going strong
