I bought these Orla Kiely Cutlery dinnerware once again from Burlington. I'll admit, this is not one of my favorite patterns and I would've much preferred these in a classic Stem print, but I can still appreciate their quirkiness and I like them much better than the dishes I had before, so I'm happy with them.
I bought these bowls at a different time from the pieces above so that's why they're in a different pic.
Squarish in shape with rounded corners, these dinner plates are a good size, measuring approximately 10 3/4" x 10 3/4". My husband noted that they felt quite heavy and well-made.
The pattern has a white background with a greenish-brown print.
Only $2.99 each, originally retailing for $30.
Similar in shape to the dinner plates above, these side plates measure approximately 8" x 8".
This time the pattern has a bright red color.
These mugs have a grey pattern.
I actually found a bunch of these when I saw them at Burlington, but I opted to only get a couple of them since I already have quite of few coffee mugs.
Something I noticed right away about these Orla Kiely mugs is that they seem quite short compared to most other coffee mugs. Here's my iPhone standing next to them for reference. They measure approximately 3 1/4" high, but still hold about 8 ounces.
I think this is my favorite color of the bunch - bright yellow! These bowls measure approximately 6" in diameter, a bit smaller than the Scribble Stripes bowls I previously blogged about, so that's why they come in at a lower price point of only $1.99 each.
All of these pieces are ceramic, dishwasher and microwave safe, and made in Thailand.
