Orla Kiely Spotted: Linear Stem Cushions on The Big Bang Theory

With the series finale of The Big Bang Theory last night, I thought it would be appropriate to post a special throwback Orla Kiely Spotted featuring the Linear Stem Pillow in the Dandelion colorway. These cushions appeared on many episodes of the show as they were frequently seen on Howard and Bernadette's couch.

My good friend Richelle got me hooked on this show and she was the first one to point out these pillows to me as I hadn't started watching the show yet when they first appeared. Now TBBT is one of my all-time favorite shows and I will miss it so much!

Orla Kiely Spotted: Abacus Flower Mug in Discover Commercial

Orla Kiely Abacus Flower Mug spotted in the "Live Customer Service" - Discover it card commercial (I only just noticed this commercial about a month ago, but it was posted to YouTube on June 26, 2013).

This is not the first time we've seen this mug - remember when it was spotted in that binge eating disorder commercial? :) Always spotting Orla Kiely in the most random places haha. And if you look closely in the background, it looks like the canisters on the counter are from the same 2009 Target collection, which have the Scribble Pear print. My husband and I were just flipping channels one day and decided to watch this show that everyone seemed to be talking about. Needless to say, Modern Family quickly became one of our favorite shows - it's our go-to pick-me-up whenever we're in need of something funny after a stressful day.

Orla Kiely Spotted: Multi Stem Wallpaper on America's Most Desperate Kitchens

Orla Kiely Multi Stem Wallpaper on an episode of America's Most Desperate Kitchens titled Retro Collectibles Kitchen that aired 7/22/15

I've been meaning to get this post up last week, but had a really hard time finding photos of this kitchen online. I did take pictures of my TV (which is what you'll see below. I apologize for the poor quality), but I really wanted to find some photos from their official website for better quality. Oh well, I think my photos will suffice and you'll still get a good idea of how amazing this kitchen turned out!

Once again, it was actually my husband who spotted this Orla Kiely wallpaper. He was flipping channels and just happened across this episode of America's Most Desperate Kitchens. They were doing the reveal to the homeowners and my husband yells, "Look, Orla Kiely!" So of course I had to whip out my camera and take pictures of the TV once again. It didn't help that my son kept walking in front of the television screen :)

I was super busy taking all these photos that I really wasn't paying too much attention to the couple's reaction. From what I remember though, they seemed to really love it, but did not mention anything about the WALLPAPER! Which to me is such a great feature of the whole space, whether you're familiar with Orla Kiely or not.

I just know if this were me getting this kitchen makeover, the wallpaper would definitely be my favorite part :)
